It’s almost time for Helf Gelf – North Wales open studios event, it’s a chance to visit and get to meet many artists and makers.
I’m taking over the Memorial hall in Mynydd Llandegai for the weekend as well as having work on display in Oriel Pendeitch, Caernarfon and with CGGC – the North Wales Jewellers Collective in Galeri, Betws y Coed.
Also whilst you’re in the area, I can’t recommend more a visit, over the valley in Bethesda, to see Hannah Coates‘ beautiful jewellery, made from recycled and upcycled materials with silver.
Throughout the weekend Friday 6th – Sunday 8th September, I will be displaying new work and some retrospective pieces too. I’m really looking forward to running silver ring workshops in the Neuadd Goffa (Memorial Hall), these will be on a drop in basis, so no need to book and they will give a simple introduction to techniques used in silversmithing and jewellery and result in you making your very own silver ring.
