The Jewellery Workshop – Glastonbury 2013

Just back from a fabulous Glastonbury. The Greencrafts field looked beautiful and jammed packed full of amazing artists and crafts people. We were blessed with wonderful weather and everyone was out to enjoy themselves.

The Jewellery Workshop got off to a flying start on Wednesday but we were taken by storm on Thursday and what a brilliant bunch of happy ring makers throughout the festival. The recycled silver rings were beautiful and I’m sad I only got to photograph one of them.

Congratulations to the happy couple who proposed and also to those who came and made their wedding rings. Congratulations to Hannah and Louit, above, who made a ring for their engagement at Glastonbury 2011 and were married, just before this year’s festival near Pilton, with rings Louit made up at my workshop in North Wales. I will be uploading the images of Louit’s ring day on the Wedding page soon.

Hope all of you who made rings have still got a good Glastonbury glow, roll on next year!
